In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Rajasthan Special Investment Region Act 2016, the State Government has constituted a Special Investment Region comprising the entire area of 363 villages of Behror, Neemrana, Mundawar, Kotkasim and Tijara Tehsils of Alwar district and the entire area of the said villages, specifying its geographical area, was named as Bhiwadi Integrated Township (BIT).

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Rajasthan Special Investment Region Act 2016, Bhiwadi Integrated Development Authority (BIDA) was constituted by the State Government for Bhiwadi Integrated Township (BIT) and The Headquarters of Bhiwadi Integrated Development Authority (BIDA) was made at Bhiwadi, District Alwar (Rajasthan).

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Rajasthan Special Investment Region Act 2016, the State Government vide prior notification of this Department dated 22.02.2018 included the entire areas of revenue villages of Behror, Neemrana, Mundawar, Kotkasim and Tijara Tehsil of Alwar district. While doing so, a special investment region was declared by the name of Bhiwadi Integrated Township, in which after partial amendment, at present there are total 321 revenue villages of the said tehsils in BIT.

Location

Bhiwadi is just 40 KM away from millennium city Gurgaon connected through NH48, 70 Km away from New Delhi, 200 km from Jaipur, 90 km from Alwar and 60 KM from Faridabad. Indra Gandhi International Airport New Delhi is just 58 KM far from Bhiwadi, and soon it will have its own green field airport. Nearest railway station is Rewari (RE) Haryana just 20 kM away. Bhiwadi is rapidly developing; well connected town and infrastructure growth in this region are high in future.
